Scenario Pitch at Galway succesful

In July I travelled to Ireland, to pitch the script of We Run to producers at the Galway Film Fleadth a.k.a. the Galway Film Festival in Ireland. In ten one on one pitching sessions with producers I pitched the script to the different producers and film funds like Screen Ireland, Screen Scotland, and local Irish producers as well as British and American producers.

What caught me by surprise was that they were all lyrical enthusiastic about the story and the pitch. Each one of them told me they would love to produce the series, but they felt like they were too small of a company to take on such a big project. Therefore they referred me to some high end producers, to pitch the script to them. So that the series can be produced in it's full scale and with people who know how to work with big budgets and international film locations.

Later this year I'm flying to a new festival to talk and pitch the script to High End producers there. Will keep you posted about that later on my news blog.
